Description
A simple, mineral-rich morning drink using Himalayan pink salt, water, lemon, and optional honey to support hydration, metabolism, and energy. Loved by women over 35, this ritual can upgrade your AM routine and help you start your day feeling refreshed.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup (8–12 oz) warm filtered water
- 1/4 teaspoon Himalayan pink salt (finely ground, food-grade)
- Juice of 1/2 a lemon
- 1 teaspoon raw honey (optional)
Instructions
- Pour the warm filtered water into your favorite glass.
- Add 1/4 teaspoon of Himalayan pink salt and stir until dissolved.
- Squeeze in the fresh lemon juice (about half a lemon).
- Stir in a teaspoon of raw honey if desired.
- Sip slowly on an empty stomach, preferably first thing in the morning.
Notes
You can use 100% pure bottled lemon juice if fresh lemons aren’t available—just make sure there are no added sugars or preservatives. For a sugar-free option, skip the honey or use a few drops of stevia or monk fruit. Try flavor variations by adding grated ginger, mint leaves, or a pinch of cayenne pepper. For extra electrolytes, swap part or all of the water for coconut water.
